This is an unguided hike recommendation that can be done anytime - like this weekend! Check out the new trail head kiosk trail map and the mid-trail maps along the way and enjoy 12 miles of scenic trails through the forest and the prairie surrounding the Governor's Residence and overlooking the Kansas River.
