Pomona State Park is located on the south shore of the 4000 acre Pomona Reservoir in Osage County.  Pomona State Park is operated by the Kansas Department of Wildlife Parks and Tourism .  The park is known for its rural atmosphere and shady campsites.  The 490 acre park is developed for a wide range of outdoor pursuits.  

Recreation opportunities at the park include, camping, picnicking, fishing, boating, hiking and other activities.  A pleasing mixture of plant life is found in prairie grassland, woodland, and lake-side environments, where enthusiasts can enjoy a variety of wildlife.  

The park is open year-round and cabin rental is available.
