The MacLennan Park Trails are dedicated to Ken Smith, retired park manager, who was instrumental in developing the first trails in the park and working for many years alongside the Kansas Trails Council to provide access to this beautiful park situated above the Kansas River and surrounding the Governor's residence at Cedar Crest.  The trails are primarily hiking trails although mountain bikes are permitted.  Mountain bikes must yield to hikers and control speeds.
