Allegawaho Memorial Heritage Trail [1]
Trail around perimeter of the park beginning about 100 yards north of the perserved historic Agency building. The park is the site of the Kaw settlement before they were relocated. The trail wanders through prairie and high vista points, then descends to follow the creek back to the trailhead. There is a restroom at the north end of the creek section. Camping is permitted at established sites along the creek. Several stone house remains can be seen along the creek trail section along with a traditional Kaw dwelling just west of the trailhead.
