Event Description:
We're going to rebuild the bridge at Mile 6.6 on the Blue Trail. This is the bridge we've called the "Broken Bridge" for awhile. It isn't actually broken or unsafe, but is continuing to deteriorate. So we're going to replace it with new timbers and tread boards.
The nearest parking is in Campground 3 at the shower house on the south end of the Campground
What to Bring:
If you have a cordless drill bring it along with extra fully charged batteries as we'll be driving about 150 screws. Gloves would be a good idea to handle the rough lumber we'll be using. We'll provide all the other tools and materials.
